The 100 Golf Classic is one of the leading golf tournaments in Atlanta. It attracts corporate players each year from all over the city due in part to course selection and its benefit cause, Project Success. The 100 Golf Classic is the 100’s spring fundraising event, with the proceeds benefiting Project Success programs and student scholarships. Each year the event is held at a prominent Atlanta country club and in past years the tournament has taken place at the following clubs: Piedmont Driving Club, Golf Club of Georgia, St Ives Country Club, Atlanta Athletic Club, Eagles Landing Country Club and most recently the Druid Hills Country Club. Teams compete to have their names added to the coveted James K. Davis Trophy.
Total participation is 140 to 150 golfers annually. The presenting sponsor is Georgia Power. Past Corporate partners have included Bank of America, Coors Light, UPS, Delta Air Lines, Aetna, McDonald’s, and The Home Depot.
This event provides marketing, advertising, public relations, entertainment and on-site marketing opportunities. Over the past 12 years, the golf tournament has generated revenues in excess of $1 million for Project Success.
